When Jerry opened his place in Fort Smith back in 1977, he had one goal and kept it simple. He wanted to serve good barbecue in a clean spot where people felt welcome every time they walked in the door. His mission stayed the same through the years. The menu grew from brisket to pork ribs and more, always prepared fresh. The focus was on friendly smiles, wonderful meals, and a spot families could enjoy together without any fuss or pressure. That mindset still guides every day.
Family Pride That Lasts

Family Pride That Lasts

What started with Jerry is still going strong as his son Jake carries on the family legacy. He grew up watching the hard work that goes into great barbecue, sneaking small bites when he could. Today, he keeps the same spirit alive, serving neighbors who have been coming in for years. It feels special to see familiar faces and meet new guests who soon feel like friends. A hot meal and a quick chat makes every visit feel like coming home.

Every day, meats are smoked with care so the rich hickory character comes through in every bite. The sauces are simple, made from scratch, and bring the meal together. Guests enjoy sliced brisket, pork ribs, sides like twice baked potatoes, and fried favorites cooked fresh. The team works fast to keep meals hot and smooth, whether eating inside or picking up food to go. Good service and honest cooking are part of every order prepared here.
